4Ps beneficiaries makikinabang sa P106-Billion cash aid sa susunod na taon.

Lampas 4-million beneficiaries ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ang makakatangap ng parte sa P106-Billion na budget sa susunod na taon kung pipitmahan ang proposed budget ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Ang proposed na budget na ito ay mas mataas ng P5-Billion kumpara sa mga nakaraang taon at madadagdagan pa ng P7.8 billion para sa administrative cost and other miscellaneous expenses ayon kay Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero.

"The increase means that more poor families will receive financial assistance from the government," ayon kay Romero.

"A 50-percent reduction will mean an additional P1 billion that could go to beneficiaries or more poor families benefiting from the program," dagdag niya.

May matitira pang P41-Billion budget para sa DSWD na gagamitin para sa social protection programs tulad ng medical, transportation at burial assistance, kasama din dito and ilang disaster relief efforts.
