Sen. Bong Go nag bigay ng ayuda sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo sa Caloocan City.



Senator Christopher “Bong” Go provided emergency assistance to the victims of a fire outbreak and flash flood in Caloocan City on Thursday, November 26. His outreach team met with 33 beneficiary families at the Caloocan City Hall North where they were provided with meals, food packs, vitamins, masks and face shields. 

The activity was carried out in strict compliance with the government-issued health and safety protocols against COVID-19. 

“Sana po ay nasa mabuti kayong kalagayan. Kapit lang tayo. Malalagpasan din natin ito kung patuloy tayong magbabayanihan at magmamalasakit sa ating kapwa. Nandito kami ni Pangulong [Rodrigo] Duterte at sa abot ng aming makakaya ay magseserbisyo po kami sa inyong lahat,” Go reassured in a video call. 

His team also provided selected beneficiaries with bicycles, an alternative and sustainable mode amid limited transportation options because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Others received tablets so their children can keep up with the online classroom activities that are being carried out under the blended learning approach. 

“Pakiusap ko naman sa mga kabataan natin, mag-aral kayong mabuti kasi ang mga magulang niyo ay nagpapakamatay para mapag-aral kayo. Puhunan ninyo ang edukasyon,” he advised.
